Bernar Prod SRL is a Romanian company operating a rail terminal at Dornești, in Suceava county near the Ukrainian border. The site has track on both 1435 mm and 1520 mm gauges, mobile cranes of 50 and 80 tonnes, storage, and an authorised customs warehouse.
What we do
We are a terminal operator. Cargo arrives on one network, is handled on our site, and leaves on another — usually across the gauge break between the European and the ex-Soviet rail systems.
Around that core we run the things the transfer needs: cranes for what cannot be forked, storage for what cannot go straight on, and a customs warehouse for what has not been cleared.

What we are not
We are not a freight forwarder, not a customs broker, not a carrier and not a trading company. We do not organise transport, file declarations or buy and sell cargo.
That distinction matters in practice. Most of our work reaches us through forwarders and brokers, who handle their part and use us for the physical one. Saying clearly what we do not do saves everybody a wasted conversation.
Where we are
Str. Stufului 2, Dornești, Suceava county, in northern Romania. The border with Ukraine is close by, in the Vicșani–Vadul Siret area, which is why the terminal exists where it does.
