Storage
Cargo storage at the Ukrainian border
We offer indoor and outdoor storage at our terminal in Dornești. The practical advantage is the location: cargo can arrive by rail, be unloaded, stored and dispatched onward without leaving the site. For goods not yet cleared we also hold a customs warehouse authorisation.
What we offer
Storage here is not a standalone service but the middle of a chain. Cargo arrives — usually by wagon or truck — is unloaded, waits as long as it needs to, then moves on. All the handling happens on the spot.
- Indoor storage for goods that cannot sit out in the weather.
- Outdoor storage for materials, equipment and bulk that can.
- Rail access on both gauges, 1435 and 1520 mm.
- Crane handling for heavy and oversized pieces.
- Permanent security on the site.
- Customs warehouse for goods awaiting clearance.
Why the location changes things
A warehouse without rail is just a shed. Ours is connected to the rail network on both gauges, which changes how a shipment can be organised.
Cargo arriving from Ukraine on broad gauge is unloaded straight into storage, waits there for formalities or for a delivery order, then loads onto a European wagon or a truck. There is no intermediate transport between unloading and storage, because they are the same place.
The same works in reverse for consignments heading east: cargo accumulates in storage until the shipment is complete, then loads onto broad gauge.
What we take
- Metal and steel, including rolled products.
- Timber and lumber.
- Construction materials.
- Grain and agricultural products.
- Equipment, machinery and industrial parts.
- Palletised goods and heavy packages.
For dangerous goods, excise goods and anything needing temperature control, ask first — not every category can be accepted, and some need separate authorisations.
What to tell us
- What the cargo is and how it is presented — bulk, palletised, packages, individual pieces.
- Quantity and the space you expect to need.
- Whether it needs covered space or can stand outside.
- Expected duration of storage.
- How it arrives and how it leaves — wagon, truck, which gauge.
- Whether it is cleared or needs the customs-warehouse regime.

Can you store uncleared goods?
Yes, under the customs warehouse regime, which has its own record-keeping and supervision.
Can you load onto a truck on the way out?
Yes, including heavy pieces lifted by crane.
Need storage on the corridor?
Tell us the cargo, the space and the duration, and we will come back with availability and a price.
